How To Join A Microsoft Teams Meeting Via Browser

Having Trouble Joining a Microsoft Teams Meeting?

If you already have Microsoft Teams installed but are experiencing issues joining the meeting (such as repeated sign-in prompts or the meeting not loading), you can join directly through your web browser as an alternative.

Steps to Join via Web Browser:

  1. Right-click the Teams meeting link in the email and choose “Copy link”
  2. Paste the link into the address bar of your browser and press Enter
  3. When prompted, select “Continue on this browser” instead of opening the Teams app
  4. Allow access to your microphone and camera if prompted
  5. Enter your name and click “Join now”

This works best in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
