While we’ve grown substantially since opening our doors in 1960, Gross Mendelsohn continues to maintain its “small firm” feel. We believe in open doors, transparency and celebrating success. Low staff turnover

We’ve found that the best way to retain quality staff is by keeping our people happy. That’s why we offer plenty of perks – like lots of vacation time, free happy hours, fruit Mondays and more. Not to mention, our staff advisory board communicates directly with management when there is an issue or idea on the staff’s mind. Our staff turnover rate is among the lowest in the profession.

Growing our people internally is the secret sauce to our firm’s success. That’s why we invest in our people – whether it’s through tuition reimbursement, training or promotions. It’s not uncommon for people to spend their entire career at Gross Mendelsohn. The firm also offers leadership, mentorship, internship and partner sponsorship programs to help staff advance within the firm. Several of the firm’s staff started their careers at the firm as interns.


Community service

Across departments and professional levels, you’ll find that a deep vein of generosity runs through our people. You can find our staff volunteering and serving on nonprofit boards in their spare time, working hard at firm-sponsored community service days and rounding up supplies for donation drives.
