Jeremy Weisinger and Bill Walter employed a two-step approach to assess Davie Kaplan’s network. First, they employed the Network Detective, a tool that scans networks for potential viruses and provides a detailed security report. Then, Jeremy and Bill conducted a security survey of a diverse selection of employees. The security survey collected information about employees’ computer habits and training, the firm’s network setup and much more.

This two-step approach helped conduct a full-fledged security audit in a flash. From the results this security audit provided, Todd Eaton was able to see what his firm was doing right and also identify a few small potential areas for improvement to create a more secure system.
