The situation
The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum hired Gross Mendelsohn to provide audit and tax services in 2007. Tricia Thomas, a member of Gross Mendelsohn’s Nonprofit Group, leads the client service team. Jennifer Green and Kaycia Rowe also work on the engagement.
In addition to the audit and tax work, Gross Mendelsohn guided the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum’s management team through the process of eliminating a full-time accounting position, which was later outsourced to a one-day-a-week bookkeeper. This saved the museum money and helped streamline procedures.
In our client's words
“Ours is a tough audit. But we feel confident in Gross Mendelsohn’s work. There’s really not much for anyone to question in our audit. Jennifer Green puts our internal controls to the test. Because of Gross Mendelsohn, and specifically Tricia Thomas, Jennifer Green and Kaycia Rowe, the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad has become a stronger organization.”
