Little Sisters of the Poor in Richmond

Efficient, pleasant, professional and easy to work with ... that's how this continuing care retirement community's bookkeeper describes Gross Mendelsohn.

Little Sisters of the Poor in Richmond

The Situation

Little Sisters of the Poor sought a new audit firm in 2012. Gross Mendelsohn’s Healthcare Group was hired, and completed its first year audit of the long term care facility in 2013. In addition to its annual audit, Little Sisters of the Poor relies on Gross Mendelsohn for preparing its annual tax return, Virginia Medicaid cost report, and Virginia historical information report.

In Our Client's Words

“Recently we wrapped up our first year audit with Gross Mendelsohn. It was a very good experience. They did everything they said they’d do, did not present us with any billing surprises, and were pleasant and efficient.

Our main points of contact at Gross Mendelsohn are Jim Crisp and Jennifer Rock. They are extremely pleasant, professional and easy to work with. Their experience with long term care providers is impressive.

Jennifer Rock, who manages our audit, is very sharp. During the onsite portion of the audit, she was efficient, knew what to look for and where to find it, and made the process very easy for us.

When we looked for a new CPA firm, we really hit the mark when we hired Gross Mendelsohn.”

— Diane Alley, Former Bookkeeper
