More About Karen
Karen is a manager in the firm’s tax department. She enjoys working closely with family members, becoming a part of their team as a trusted advisor. Karen is known for caring for her clients as if they were her own family.
Along with providing tax return preparation, bookkeeping and tax planning services for her clients and their small businesses and trusts, she’s the firm’s payroll expert. Karen manages the quarterly and annual reporting processes, including the yearly preparation of thousands of 1099s and W-2s for the firm’s clients. In addition, she provides outsourced accounting services to clients, utilizing QuickBooks to help manage detailed day-to-day personal and business transactions.
Karen’s favorite things about the accounting profession are the variety of work and the deadline-driven aspects of each task. She also delights in training and mentoring staff.
Outside the office, you’ll find Karen spending time with her husband hiking, attending live music concerts, Broadway shows, Ravens games, classic car shows and playing with their cats.
