About Maryland China Company
Maryland China Company is a fourth generation company offering fine white porcelain and ceramic items to artists, commercial decorators and consumers.
The Challenge
Maryland China Company’s management team already knew they needed an ERP system that would integrate with their ecommerce website. But first they needed to find an ERP expert who could break down all of their needs, understand their processes, walk them through the maze of ERP options and ultimately help identify the best solution for the company.
The company also needed a credit card processing system both on their website and inside their accounting system, in addition to a stable network environment.
How We Helped
Chris Haiss of Gross Mendelsohn’s Technology Solutions Group met with Maryland China Company’s owners and employees to get a solid understanding of the company’s operations and processes. After gaining an in-depth understanding of the company, she recommended Microsoft Dynamics GP.
Chris implemented Dynamics GP and customized it for Maryland China Company. She made sure the ERP system integrated with the company’s website, and that the online product catalog was fully integrated with Dynamic GP’s sales transaction entry. Chris also implemented a credit card processing system on the company’s website and inside their accounting system.
Chris and her team provided training for Maryland China Company’s Dynamics GP users.
Our team provides network support for Microsoft Office 365, new servers, workstations and printers as well as remote data backup and recovery, network monitoring of disk space and event logs, and multiple security layers including firewall, anti-spam and antivirus.
We perform periodic maintenance such as installing antivirus updates and Windows service packs, and adding and removing network users for Maryland China Company.
