About This Webinar

Many nonprofits have accounting in place — but far fewer have a finance function that truly supports leadership, boards and long‑term sustainability. In this webinar we’ll define what a modern, well‑run finance function looks like and why it matters.

We’ll explore how nonprofits can move beyond basic bookkeeping to a finance model that delivers timely insight, reduces risk and supports confident decision‑making. You’ll gain a clearer picture of how people, processes, reporting and technology should work together to provide visibility and control — even as your organization grows.

 You’ll learn how to:

  • Define the core components of a modern nonprofit finance function
  • Understand the financial reporting leadership and boards need for decision-making
  • Use financial data to shift from reactive management to proactive planning
  • Leverage the right accounting and finance technology to improve efficiency, accuracy and visibility
  • Build a finance structure that supports audits, grant compliance and governance with fewer surprises
  • Evaluate outsourced accounting models and determine whether they’re a good fit for your nonprofit
