Delmarva Foundation has a few new helpful resources for long term care providers.

Delmarva Foundation has contracts with both Maryland and District of Columbia: Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care (DFMC) and Delmarva Foundation of the District of Columbia (DFDC), the CMS-contracted Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs) for Maryland and the District of Columbia, now have two new websites to support its Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) contracts: http://www.delmarvafoundation.org/providers/index.html.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) provided two scenarios in their Skilled Nursing Facility Prospective Payment System proposed rule for FY 2012. They will decide which to implement on October 1. Read more here.
