Gross Mendelsohn partners complete intensive leadership training program

David Lanchak, CPA, CVA, CCIFP, and Tricia Thomas, CPA, partners at Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates, completed the BKR Leadership Institute, an intensive two-year program designed to develop the personal, interpersonal, managerial and organizational skills of participants. BKR is a leading global association of accounting and advisory firms.
Lanchak is a member of the firm’s Construction Consulting Group. In addition to being a CPA and a Certified Valuation Analyst, he is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional, a designation earned only by those with specialized expertise in the construction industry. He recently published an article, “Price wars not the answer for contractors in a sluggish economy,” in the Baltimore Business Journal. A graduate of the University of Baltimore, Lanchak is a member of the Maryland Association of CPAs and American Institute of CPAs.
Thomas specializes in providing audit and accounting services to nonprofit organizations and construction contractors. She is a member of the Maryland Association of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. A graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University, Thomas was once awarded the school’s Distinguished Young Alumni Award. She has a strong commitment to community service, currently serving as treasurer on the board of directors of The Red Devils, a nonprofit organization that funds services to improve the quality of life for breast cancer patients and their families.
