Baltimore, MD – Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates received a Mayor’s Business Recognition Award at a luncheon on December 14, 2010.
The award was presented to the firm for its efforts installing raised garden beds, planting hundreds of perennials, collecting trash and spreading mulch in the Sandtown / Winchester neighborhood. This was one of the projects the Maryland-based CPA firm undertook to celebrate its 50th anniversary by giving back to the community that has sustained and supported it since 1960. “This was the perfect way to show our commitment to the Baltimore community,” says David Goldner, CPA, CVA, CFP, Gross Mendelsohn’s managing partner, who accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
Gross Mendelsohn was one of the 15 businesses in the Baltimore area honored by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake for its outstanding community service and civic leadership.
