Allen Haar, CPA, CFP(R), is a principal in the firm’s litigation support and forensic accounting department. He has worked on matters involving damage calculations, fraud and embezzlement, business valuations, divorce and insurance claims.
During his 36-year career, Allen provided audit, accounting, tax and business consulting services to a wide variety of clients, including one of the world’s largest snack food manufacturers, one of Pennsylvania’s largest oil distributors, a large multi-state supermarket, and a convenience store chain.
In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Allen is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) practitioner, adding to his ability to handle a large range of client needs.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP(R), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (TM) and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's intial and ongoing certification requirements.

Just for fun
- An avid water skier, Allen once planned to celebrate his 60th birthday by “barefooting.” Fortunately for him, he matured mentally before reaching that milestone.
- Allen collects early decoys and has a few choice finds stashed away in boxes. It’s more about finding the rare ones than showing them off. Besides, that means less dusting for Allen.
- He enjoys watching the cycle of nature at his home on the Chesapeake Bay, whether it’s rays in April, horseshoe crabs in May, or terrapins in June.
