 Jerome A. Gross, CPA Founding Partner (1960-2009) - Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates, P.A. Jerry retired in June 2009 after spending 50 years growing and leading the firm that he co-founded. Sadly, Jerry passed away on November 16, 2009. Everyone at the firm misses him dearly. Jerry graduated from the University of Baltimore in 1955 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1956. He attended the University of Baltimore Law School, received his LL.B in 1959, and became a member of the Maryland Bar in 1960. While active in the firm, he served as chairman of the Management of Accounting Practice committee of the Maryland Association of CPAs, chairman of Accounting Group International, an international association of independent accounting firms, and participated in various other capacities in these two organizations. In the community he was president of Community Housing Assistance, Inc. (CHAI), vice president of the Suburban Club of Baltimore County and participated on the boards of numerous other charitable foundations. |
