 Edward L. Thompson, CPA, CFE Principal – Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates, P.A. E-mail: EThompson@gma-cpa.com Ed, both a CPA and a Certified Fraud Examiner, is a member of the firm’s audit and accounting department and has experience working with clients in many industries, including freight distribution, construction and manufacturing. He also has experience working in the firm’s forensic accounting and litigation support department, providing accounting services in connection with business interruption loss evaluations, and calculations of the value of stolen or destroyed cash and inventory. Prior to joining the firm, Ed was involved with the management of a local distributorship of materials handling equipment, where his responsibilities included sales and marketing, purchasing, and personnel. Ed received a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance from Towson University. He is heavily involved in providing technical training to the firm’s staff. |
