E-mail: DGoldner@gma-cpa.com As managing partner and chairman of Gross Mendelsohn's executive committee, David has primary responsibility for managing the day-to-day and long-term affairs of the firm. As a tax partner, David’s major responsibilities include tax and financial planning for many of the firm’s clients. He also provides business valuation services for other professionals and business owners. He is experienced in handling special situations, such as the acquisition or disposition of a business, real estate investments and investment planning. His other duties include supervision of various corporate, partnership and individual income tax return engagements. In addition to being a member of the firm’s tax practice, David is in charge of Gross Mendelsohn’s personal financial planning and business valuation committees, and is actively involved in other committees in the firm, including practice development and personnel. In addition to being a CPA, David is a Certified Financial Planner and a Certified Valuation Analyst. David graduated from the University of Maryland in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He received a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Baltimore in 1983. In 2010 he presented "Taxes and Alternatives to Shape Investment Planning" to the Baltimore and Washington, DC chapters of the American Association of Individual Investors. David presented "Tax-savvy Investment Strategies" to members of the American Association of Individual Investors' Baltimore chapter in 2009. David's presentations offered tips for investing in a poor economy and forming a coordinated approach to tax, investment and personal financial planning. David serves on the board of directors of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council. He serves on the investment committees of the Susan G Komen Foundation of Maryland and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland.
